Cinema on the Lawn

Cinema on the Lawn is fun, relaxing, and sometimes-wacky version of the drive-in. Held on the lawn behind Seattle's Discovery Center, movies are shown on a giant inflatable Etch-a-Sketch screen. Voluntary entrance donations may be made to benefit KEXP and the Seattle International Film Festival. Movies begin 30 minutes after dusk. Bring your blankets or low-back chair around 7:00-ish to claim your spot on the turf, then relax and enjoy a pre-movie dinner from the Cinema's pizza and beer garden.
