Wildflower Weekend

Friday April 11, 2008
Idaho's City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rocks State Park will celebrate spring wildflowers with a number of programs and activities. The event takes place on Mother's Day weekend, May 10-11, 2008. You can enjoy several leisurely walks to view the colorful wildflower displays. Walks begin at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. Other activities available include the Photo Safari at 9 a.m. on Sunday and a van tour along alpine roads for a view of high mountain wildflowers. City of Rocks and Castle Rocks are located 50 miles south of Burley, near the historic community of Almo. For more details, visit the park web sites or call Juanita Jones at 208-824-5519 ext. 106.
