Celebrate Summer Solstice in Alaska

Summer solstice is the longest day of the year; in Alaska, that day lasts around 19 hours. Alaskans celebrate June 21 with a number of special events, including:
- Fairbanks - Midnight Sun Fun Run, Midnight Sun Baseball Game, and Midnight Sun Festival
- Seldovia Summer Solstice Music Festival
- Anchorage - AWAIC Summer Solstice Festival, Moose's Tooth & Bear Tooth Summer Solstice Concert and Party, and Mayor's Marathon and Half Marathon
