Summer Means SEAFAIR

Summer in Seattle means it's time for SEAFAIR, an annual series of community festivals and special events. The long list of 2008 SEAFAIR events kicks off on June 29 and continues well into August. Parades, a milk-carton derby, a half-marathon, and the unlimited hyrdoplane races are just a sample of the many festivities you can enjoy. Local fairs and festivals celebrate everything from whaling to seafood to Filipino-American culture. There's truly something for everyone!
