Northwest Renaissance Festival

Longing for days of yore? Way, way yore? You can go back to Renaissance times at the Northwest Renaissance Festival in Nine Mile Falls, just north of Spokane. While there, you can take in a joust, view knightly games, and see some "exotic" dancing. You'll also enjoy live music, colorful characters, and tasty food. Festival merchants offer jewelry, Renaissance clothing, souvenir items, and original art. The 2008 festival runs each weekend through July 20.
