McCall Winter Carnival

Friday January 2, 2009
Fabulous snow sculptures, fireworks over the lake, and a monster dog pull are just some of the ways winter is celebrated at the annual McCall Winter Carnival. Other events include the Mardi Gras parade, chocolate and wine tasting, bingo, and casino night. You'll also find craft and food booths and live entertainment such as The McCall Folk Lore Society Winter Carnival Music Extravaganza. The 2009 McCall Winter Carnival runs from January 30 to February 8.

Is anyone going to post picutres of the Snow Sculpting in McCall Idaho for 2008. Some people can not make it up to McCall to see them in person?

They’ll probably post the 2008 photos soon on the official McCall Winter Carnival web site at http://mccallwintercarnival.com/index.php.

Those photos at the website are from the year before, 2007. The 2008 photos of the parade would show a blizzard, it was amazing! The trip to McCall for Winter Carnival is well worth it, we’ve gone the last 4 years and have loved it each and every time. The snow sculptures are incredible, the parade is one of the best I’ve seen!
