Have Fun at the Oregon Dunes

Tuesday November 10, 2009

Acres and acres of rolling sand dunes create the opportunity for all kinds of fun. You'll find that fun at the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, located along 40 miles of Oregon's coast. You can explore the dunes by dune buggy, sand rail, off-road motorcycle, or horseback. The landscape in and around the hills of sand includes ocean beach, wetlands, freshwater lakes, and lush forests, making the Oregon Dunes NRA a great place for fans of hiking, boating, birding, and camping. To help you plan your own dunes adventure, I've put together an Oregon Dunes Trip Planner.
