Juneau Jazz and Classics, one of Alaska's major annual music festivals, kicks off on May 16, 2008. Blues, gospel, jazz, and classical music will be offered in a number of Juneau venues over ten days. The 2008 lineup includes The Apollo Trio, Mark Steinberg, The Bad Plus, Lannie Garrett, and Charlie Musselwhite.
