Although it is true that there is no road to Juneau, you can "drive" to Alaska's capital city - part of you trip will include a ferry boat ride. The ferries of the Alaska Marine Highway System depart for Juneau from Bellingham, Washington, Prince Rupert, B.C., and Haines or Skagway, Alaska.
Note: The roads in downtown Juneau are narrow; many are one way. It is suggested that visitors use public transportation when visiting city center attractions. Large vehicles and RVs are definitely not a good idea on these city streets.
By Air:
Alaska Airlines is the major airline that services Juneau, with scheduled flights from both Anchorage and Seattle. A variety of smaller air services is also available.
