The Cape Meares Lighthouse is located on a coastal promontory near the town of Tillamook in Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint. Cape Meares Lighthouse is open daily during the months of April through October. Tours can be schedule a minimum of three weeks in advance by calling (503)842-2244. The lighthouse can be reached via a wheelchair-accessible paved trail.
Cape Meares Lighthouse is nestled among the spruce, where interpretive trails lead visitors through the area. Plentiful bird and whale watching provides even more reason to plan a stop at this scenic viewpoint. The Cape Meares gift shop offers items featuring lighthouses and sea life.
