Seattle is a wonderful place for fresh and innovative food and drink. Coffee, beer, wine, and seafood are all things associated with Seattle. A tasting tour is a great way to sample the region's best while learning more about the city's culture and history. Here are some of the Seattle tour companies that offer food- and drink-focused tours.

Savor Seattle Food Tours
The tour company with the pink umbrella, Savor Seattle is best known for its entertaining and delicious walking tour of Pike Place Market. The Pike Place Market tour focuses on the food products available in Seattle's famous public market, including smoked salmon, fresh-brewed coffee, baked goods, locally-made cheese, and fresh fruit. For adult guests, Savor Seattle offers a Gourmet Seattle tour - essentially a progressive meal - that includes beer, cocktail, and wine tasting along with awesome appetizers, entrees, dessert, and more. Other tours include one that focuses on chocolate and another that covers the hip Capitol Hill district. Savor Seattle's scheduled food tours run 2-3 hours; private and special tours are also available.

Road Dog's Seattle Brewery Tours
Seattle, home to a multitude of craft and microbreweries, is heaven for beer lovers. You can experience just some of the great brews that the city has to offer on one of Road Dog's scheduled tours, with morning, afternoon, and evening options. Your tour guide will take you by van to breweries located around the Seattle metro area, choosing three options from among over a dozen possibilities. Potential brewery stops include Red Hook Brewery, Pyramid Brewery, or Hales Ale's Brewery. Private tours are also available.

Seattle Bites Food Tours
The magnificent food and colorful history of Pike Place Market are the subject of the Seattle Bites Food Tours. As you walk through the market, your energetic guide will fill you in on what you can find at, as well as the stories behind, Seattle's popular public market. You'll sample food and drink from the region along with some of the ethnic specialties that make Pike Place Market such a dynamic experience. French crepes and German sausages, along with Northwest chowder and locally-roasted coffee, are among the treats you might enjoy on this tour.

Chocolate Box Tours & Events
In addition to all that other food and drink, Seattle has a thriving community of chocolatiers. The Chocolate Box, located near Pike Place Market, offers a selection of chocolate products from the Northwest's best. You'll find bars, truffles, and other cacao treats from a long list of regional chocolatiers, including Fran's Chocolate, Theo Chocolate, and Oh! Chocolate. The Chocolate Box offers the "Chocolate Experience," an event that includes a van trip to local maker Theo Chocolate, chocolate samples, and the chance to create your own creative confection. In addition to a wine bar within the shop, they also offer an "Urban Wine Tour."

Seattle by Foot
Seattle by Foot offers several different tour options - some focus on local beverages, others feature local culture. Their "Coffee Crawl" is a 2-hour walking tour with stops at a number of Seattle's fine coffee houses, beginning at Pike Place Market and ending in Pioneer Square. You'll learn about Seattle coffee culture, along with some Seattle history and architecture. The pubs and microbrewery at Pike Place Market are the focus of Seattle by Foot's "Pub Crawl" tour, where you'll have the opportunity to sample a variety of beers, along with some food and music.

A number of tasty tour opportunities are also available at local food and drink producers. Here are a few that are within a short drive from Seattle.
