What is Northwest Trek?
Northwest Trek is a wildlife park filled with animals from the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, including a few species that are endangered or threatened. You'll find wildlife exhibits in a zoo-like setting in the walking-tour part of the park . The animals roam free in the other section of Northwest Trek; you can get an up-close view of the Northwest creatures from a narrated tram tour.

Where is Northwest Trek?
Northwest Trek is located about a half-hour southeast of Tacoma in the town of Eatonville. It can be accessed from State Route 161.

The Wildlife at Northwest Trek
Northwest Trek provides the opportunity to observe Pacific Northwest wildlife in a natural setting. You'll experience these animals in a variety of ways, including a walking tour and a narrated tram tour (both are included in your admission fee). Trailside encounters, the Cheney Children's Discovery Center, the Baker Research Cabin, the Forest Theater, and special events and programs provide even more fun ways to learn about the wildlife you'll see at Northwest Trek.
