Seattle's Labor Day Arts Festival

Bumbershoot, Seattle's annual arts festival, takes place over Labor Day weekend. The festival features arts and artists of all kinds, including music, poetry, and dance. During the 3-day festival, you can choose from over 2,500 musicians and artists at 20 different stages and venues within Seattle Center. You will also enjoy Bumbershoot's many food and commercial booths.

The 2009 Bumbershoot lineup includes:

  • Franz Ferdinand
  • The All-American Rejects
  • Gang Gang Dance
  • Roy Ayers

When: September 5-7, 2009
Where: Seattle Center
Hours: 11:00 am to 11:00 PM (entry gates close at 10:00 PM

Information about tickets, including packages and discounts, can be found at the Bumbershoot web site.

Note: The shows in the Memorial Stadium require a separate free pass, available on a first-come-first-served basis at information booths inside festival grounds. You must present your Bumbershoot festival ticket stub for that day to receive a Mainstage pass for a show. One Main Stage pass per person/ticket stub.
