Roots of Big Old Cedar Tree in Washington State

The gnarly roots at the base of this ancient cedar tree in Olympic National Park are truly nature's work of art. Many of the largest specimens of various types of trees are located on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. This one is just a short distance from Kalaloch Beach on the Pacific Coast.
