Colorful fields of daffodils, tulips, and irises are the main attraction during the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, several weeks of flowers and festivities that take place just a short drive north of Seattle. The flower fields are found in and around the charming towns of La Conner, Mount Vernon, and Bow, home to world-famous bulb growing companies.
Everywhere you look there's a different variety of tulip, or a new and striking color combination. These pictures provide a peak at what you'll experience on your own visit to the flowering fields, particularly if you're lucky enough to arrive at the peak of the tulip blooms. If you ever get a chance to visit Washington's Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, be sure you take advantage of the opportunity! Until then, I hope you enjoy these colorful pictures from the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
