Recreation Passes for Pacific Northwest Parks and Forests

Anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors in the Pacific Northwest is in and out of various national and state parks and forests. Most of these places have day-use or entry fees that can range from $3 to $15. Over a year, these fees can really add up. Fortunately, there are a variety of annual recreation passes available for parks and forests in Oregon and Washington. Here are your options:

Interagency Annual Pass
The Interagency Annual Pass allows you to access US sites and facilities operated by the following agencies for one year from month of purchase:

  • National Park Service
  • US Forest Service
  • Bureau of Land Management
  • Bureau of Reclamation
  • US Fish & Wildlife Service

Enhanced and discounted versions of the Interagency Annual Pass are available for senior citizens and for persons who are blind or permanently disabled.

Annual Northwest Forest Pass
The Annual Northwest Forest Pass allows you to access sites and facilities operated by the following agencies for one year from month of purchase:

  • US Forest Service in Oregon and Washington

Washington and Oregon Recreation Pass
The Washington and Oregon Recreation Pass, which includes an Interagency Annual Pass, allows you to access sites and facilities operated by the following agencies for one year from month of purchase:

  • National Park Service
  • US Forest Service
  • Bureau of Land Management
  • Bureau of Reclamation
  • US Fish & Wildlife Service
  • some Oregon State Parks
  • some Washington State Parks
  • some Army Corps of Engineers sites

Oregon Pacific Coast Passport
The Oregon Pacific Coast Passport is available in annual or five-day versions. This pass allows you to access select Oregon coast recreation sites.

Note: All of these passes are for entrance and/or day-use fees only, not for additional services and facilities such as camping.
