The Davenport Hotel has been restored to its original glory, enjoying renewed status as one of America’s grand and gracious hotels. The original hotel opened in 1914 and reigned as a Northwest landmark for several decades before falling into disrepair and closing. The renovated Davenport Hotel opened in 2002. In addition to the main hotel, a new tower was added to The Davenport in 2007, offering over 300 contemporary-styled guest rooms; this review focuses on the rooms and facilities found in the main historic hotel.

Even if you will not be an overnight guest, everyone can and should tour the lobby and common areas.

The Rooms at The Davenport Hotel

The rooms at The Davenport Hotel have been renovated to include every modern comfort while retaining an elegant, old-world ambiance. The Davenport put extra care into the comfort of those beds, choosing cushy-but-firm mattresses, down-filled duvets, and high quality linens. The nightly turn-down service includes a special treat - a piece of The Davenport Candy Shoppe's soft peanut butter brittle.

Each guest room includes:

  • wired and wireless Internet access
  • in-room safe
  • bathtubs and walk-in showers

  • televisions with movies and music

Main hotel room configurations include standard guest rooms with a king or two queen beds, larger deluxe rooms, parlor suites with seating areas, and executive suites. A variety of high-end suites for dignitaries or special occasions are also available. Pets are welcome.
