Resort buildings are scattered among trees and trails, with the sound of nearby Icicle Creek and the rustling of the aspen leaves a constant soothing backdrop. Throughout the complex you'll find areas perfect to sit alone or in small groups, whether in the garden, overlooking the creek, or at a lounge. Sleeping Lady Resort puts a high priority on the use of sustainable, fair trade, and eco-certified products; you'll find these values represented in your accommodations, in the meal offerings, and at the Resort's two gift shops. If you choose to venture out from Sleeping Lady Resort during your stay, you'll have access to year-round outdoor recreation as well as the frivolity of downtown Leavenworth.

The Accommodations at Sleeping Lady Resort
The upscale cabin-style guest rooms are located in small one-story buildings, which are arranged in clusters that face a common central area. Porch seating looks out into this shared but private space. Room décor includes peeled log and pine furniture with luxury linens and bedding, a writing table, a sitting area, and a private bath with tub and shower. These rooms come with lots of natural light, heating and air conditioning, a radio/CD/MP3 clock, wifi, and a telephone. There are no televisions.

Large accommodations and a bunkhouse are also available.

    Located at the entrance to the Resort. O'Grady's Pantry is open for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon refreshment, serving espresso drinks, ice cream, soup, sandwiches, salads, quiche, and other entrees.

    The resort's system of walking trails includes paths through the fenced-off garden area. Inside the enclosure you'll find not only rows of herbs and vegetable plants but flowers, art, and sitting areas.
  • The Mercantile
    Gift items, books, and souvenir items.

Activities Adjacent to Sleeping Lady Resort
Guests of the Sleeping Lady Resort have easy access to some fun activities. In the winter, you can enjoy snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Miles of trails can be accessed from Resort property. Gear rental and passes are available at The Mercantile. The Icicle Creek Center for the Arts is an easy walk, located on Sleeping Lady Resort's western border. Performing arts of all kinds are offered throughout the year, from annual music and theatre festivals to special concerts. Arts workshops are available on a variety of subjects.
