When visiting Yellowstone National Park, you'll maximize your experience by choosing overnight accommodations inside the park. Your choices include hotels, cabins, camping, or staying in an RV.

Hotels
There are several hotel-style accommodations available inside of Yellowstone National Park. They range from historic inns that offer rooms with or without private baths to more modern facilities where each room includes a private bath. Each hotel is co-located with dining, shopping, and other services. In keeping with National Park Service policy, none of the rooms have TVs, air conditioning, or Internet access. Telephones and radios are available in a few.

Cabins
Cabins make up a significant portion of the lodging in Yellowstone National Park. These cabins range from historic - that is, old and rustic - to modern. In many cases the units are connected. Some come with private baths, others have access to common bathhouses. As in the hotels, you won't find televisions, air conditioning, or Internet access.

Camping
There are 12 different campgrounds around Yellowstone National Park. Five of these accept reservations; the rest are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Yellowstone's campgrounds range from small with vault toilets to very large (over 400 sites) with flush toilets. Reservations can be made by calling 866-439-7375.

RV Parks
The Fishing Bridge RV Park provides facilities for large recreational vehicles including full-hookups, pay showers, and laundry. Some of the other campgrounds offer a limited number of sites that can accommodate smaller recreational vehicles.
